I took my elderly mum to this delightful cafe last week and we enjoyed it so much we came back the next day for another treat. The menu is simple but they do some nice daily specials and on both days we really enjoyed their home made soups with a sandwich for my mum and each time I had one of their delicious home made cheese scones. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

Great cafe, only one in the village that does a full English I believe. Very nice food, great customer service, reasonably-ish priced. Lovely building inside with a real homely feel. Missing a trick opening so late in the morning in my opinion as the other bakery cafe was rammed before 9 the day before.

An outstanding cafe, bookmarked this location as the place to go for a good breakfast in Broughton in Furness. Very Dog friendly and even brought us extra sausages for him. Highest quality breakfast I’ve had in along time and can’t wait to go back soon.

Full English breakfast is as good as it gets, service wasn't quick as the cafe was filling up at the time of our visit. The cafe itself is full of rustic charm and cosy

We turned up 10 minutes before the kitchen closed for the day, yet there were no complaints as we looked the menu and ordered. Our meals far surpassed our expectations, and the side salad was the star of the show for me, lots of variety and the dressing was lovely. Great sized portions, reasonably priced, a fantastic stop off if you're in the area! Thanks so much.

Very friendly staff. Out on our motorbike and called in for some food, just had a toasted currant teacake, large bowl of chips and 2 coffees. Apparently they said the coffees took too long to arrive so they never charged us! We offered to pay as we didn't think the wait was too bad, infact we prefer them after we'd eaten. But wouldn't accept it, so Thank You folks. Keep doing what you are doing so well.

Stopped on the way home camping. Friendly service, great food (took a bit of a while but it was busy) and lovely spot to sit outside. Plenty of parking on the square. It is the strangest building inside but very quirky.
